December was a very busy month, with a lot of clients wanting advice in the run up to Christmas. We also had the Christmas light switch on just outside the MFM office, which many people from the local area attended (including the Mayor of Sunderland herself who kicked off the festivities). This was delayed slightly due to the Great British weather doing what it does best (raining); however, the torrential downpour didn’t stop people getting in the Christmas mood and the whole thing eventually went on without issue! I was in charge of decorating the office for the festival season, which was great fun. I think I did a great job, however I left it up to Helen and Andrew to decide whether I had!

We then shut down for a week over Christmas, allowing me to spend some quality time with my family and friends, although I spent a lot of the break preparing for the new year as I was then beginning my journey through the Julian Harris adviser academy.
